Introduction

Life Tools Center offers evidence-informed parent education workshops designed to strengthen emotional regulation, behavioral stability, and academic readiness.
Programs may be delivered as individual workshops or structured multi-session parent learning series. Each school, organization, or district can choose the workshops that make up a series.

Serie I

Trauma-Informed Parenting & Emotional Regulation focuses on helping caregivers understand trauma-related behavior, emotional regulation, and supportive discipline strategies.
Topics include:
·         Understanding Trauma & Child Behavior
·         Helping Children Regulate Big Emotions
·         Positive Discipline for Children Impacted by Trauma
·         Managing Behavioral Challenges (ADHD, ODD, etc.)
·         Responding to Children with Anxiety & Big Worries
·         Responding to adolescents with Anxiety & Big Worries
·         Identifying & Navigating Depression in Children
·         Identifying & Navigating Depression in Adolescents

Serie II

Parent–Child Connection & Positive Discipline focuses on strengthening relational safety, attachment, and healthy discipline practices that promote cooperation and emotional security.
Topics include:
·         Building Strong Parent–Child Connection
·         Building Attachment and Sense of Security: Infants, Children and Adolescents
·         Supporting Children’s Social-Emotional Development at Home
·         Supporting Adolescents’ Social-Emotional Development at Home
·         Positive Discipline Without Power Struggles
